Alumni
Recent alumni of Franklin University (those that graduated from Franklin) are able to keep their email account and Self Service access after finishing their degree. Alumni email accounts from long ago may no longer be in existence, which may also affect access to Self Service.
- Franklin University reserves the right to terminate alumni email accounts and access to Self Service at any time for any reason, and we cannot guarantee that accounts and/or access will remain active permanently.
- While Alumni will retain email access after graduation, access to services such as OneDrive or access to Microsoft Office installation files and licensing will eventually be removed, likely soon after not taking courses. Access to such services is reserved for active students only.
Former Students who did not graduate from Franklin University
Former students of Franklin University are able to keep their email accounts and Self Service access after they are done taking courses for up to 1 year (potentially less). However, Franklin University may periodically prune old accounts and/or access for students who did not graduate the University prior to the one year mark.
- Franklin University reserves the right to terminate non-current email accounts and access to Self Service at any time for any reason, and we cannot guarantee that accounts and/or access will remain active permanently.
- While former students will retain email for some time, access to services such as OneDrive or access to Microsoft Office installation files and licensing will eventually be removed, likely soon after not taking courses. Access to such services is reserved for active students only.

If Your Account Is Still Active
1. You can head to https://password.franklin.edu to recover your password.

2. You should still be able to access your email by logging in at https://email.franklin.edu
3. You can log in to Self Service at https://selfservice.franklin.edu to retrieve your unofficial transcript.
If Your Account is Inactive or Terminated
1. You will be unable to access your email or any prior course material.
2. You will be unable to log in to Self Service to access your unofficial transcript. However, you can still order an official transcript or contact admissions if you are thinking about finishing your degree. More information about obtaining transcripts can be found at the link below:
