Who Is eligible?
To many those with active Franklin University accounts (click here for more information), you can use online versions of Microsoft365 applications.
Some accounts can also access a free version of Microsoft Office for their computer as well:
- Active students
- Current staff and faculty
- Adjunct faculty teaching in the current term
For others, the online applications are available, while the free version of Microsoft Office on your computer is not:
- Adjunct faculty with an active account, but are not teaching in the current term.
Alumni and former students who did not graduate from Franklin University are not able to use these online applications. Click here for more information.
How do I access these online applications?
Microsoft Office365 online applications can be access once you have logged into email on your browser.
1. To access your email, navigate to mail.franklin.edu and sign in.
2. Click on the apps launcher to see which applications your license gives you access to open.

Where are the files stored?
Once you have created and worked on a document, workbook, or presentation, it will most likely store in your OneDrive space.
However, you can also click on the file name to change the name (arrow annotation) and storage location (circle annotation) of your file.
