Canvas Mobile App Overview
The Canvas mobile app allows students to essentially handle all of your course work from your phone. The app features a huge list of tasks students can perform, such as viewing grades, submit assignments, participate in discussions, take quizzes, and much more. For a full list of features offered to students in the Canvas mobile app, download the feature list file attached to the bottom of this article.
Download the Canvas App
For iOS users:
Download the Canvas mobile app by opening up the App Store, search for Canvas Student, and download the result titled Canvas Student - Education.
For Android users:
Download the Canvas mobile app by opening up the Play Store, search for Canvas Student, and download the result titled Canvas Student - Education.

Getting Started
Logging into the App
1. Open the app and tap the "Find My School" button.
2. Begin typing Franklin in the text box to narrow the options down, then select the school name from the list.
3. Enter your username and password and tap the "Log In" button.
*Note: Your username format should be FirstName.LastName@franklin.edu
Opening a course
1. Once you have logged in you will be in the courses tab. Simply tap a course to open it.
Viewing an Assignment
1. Once you have opened a course you will see the course navigation. Tap the Assignments link to view assignments for the course.
2. Tap an assignment to open it.
3. You should now be able to view the assignment details.
