What is a Cross Listed Course
Cross listed courses are those courses that are a single course, but some students attend the course sessions in person, while others take the course entirely online and do not attend in person at all. These may also be called "hybrid courses".
How to Spot a Cross Listed Course and Navigate it
1. Cross listed courses can be spotted in your All Courses view, the course will have a longer title than most. The title of the cross listed course will include meeting times in the title of it.
- The all courses view can be see by clicking on Courses (left hand menu) and then All Courses.
2. You may also see in the People tab of the course that some member of the class are listed in a course section listed as "FF" while others are in the "WW"
- Ending in FF indicting that they are face-to-face students course section
- Ending in WW indicting that they are online students for this course section
- Faculty members may have both listed
3. Important: It is important to note that while the People tab of the course shows different designations for online or face-to-face students (as shown directly above), all students in the cross listed section use the same course website. This website always lists the course as ending in WW, even for the face-to-face students. Both face-to-face and online students of the cross listed course will see a course title like below when in the course website completing their coursework.
Further Troubleshooting

Please use the People tab in the course to verify if you are listed as an face-to-face student, or online student (screenshot above).

2. For question about your course meetings or attendance with the cross listed section, please reach out to your professor for clarification.
