Dashboard Overview
The Dashboard acts as the Home Page that you first see when logging into Canvas. The Dashboard displays tons of information, such as your course tiles with activity notifications and a handy To-Do list to help you keep track of your graded or upcoming assignments. You can also change how your courses display, so read more below to learn how it works.

How to Use the Dashboard
The Dashboard is your Canvas Home Page, which appears every time you log in. The first things you will see are your course tiles and the To-Do list on the far, right-hand side of the screen.
Each course tile displays 4 notification icons that show how many assignments, announcements, discussion posts, and files have been shared or uploaded in the course.
The To-Do List displays all of the graded or incomplete assignments for all courses. Your instructor chooses which items show up on this list automatically, but you can also add your own items to the list.
If you would like to change the view from tiles to a list view, you can click the 3 dot icon at the top of the page and choose List View or Recent Activity to change the view.
Now that you know the basics of the Dashboard, you can check out all of the features this page offers by finding an article below. Click a link below to view Canvas's article on the subject:
