When attaching a file to a discussion post in your course or sending a Canvas Inbox message with an attachment, that attached file is stored in your Canvas storage space. If the storage quota is exceeded, older discussion posting attachments or inbox message attachments may need to be deleted. If this is the case, please follow these steps.
1. In Canvas, click on your Account and the Files.
2. All discussion posting attachments and inbox attachments are in the folder entitled Conversation Attachments.
3. Find files from previous courses and remove them to make more storage. You can also download the files before deleting them to back up your OneDrive account.
