Audience: Anyone with a Franklin University issued Office365 email account.
Disclaimer: The results and functionality of the following article only apply to your University issued Microsoft 365 account, and do not apply to other email accounts.
There are two methods for configuring your University email on your iPhone or iPad:
The Suggested Method - Downloading the Outlook app:
1. Find the Outlook app in the App Store (by Microsoft Corporation) and download it.
2. Open the app and select Microsoft 365 if asked
3. Sign in with your university email address and password

- username@email.franklin.edu (Franklin student)
The Alternate Method - Using the default Mail app on your device:
We cannot guarantee that the alternate method of adding your email as discussed below will work. Franklin University enforces authentication that some application versions do not support. If you run into issues using this method, please instead use the Outlook mobile application as discussed above.
1. Go to Settings
2. Select Mail
3. Select Accounts
4. Select Add Account
5. Select Exchange
6. When prompted how to sign in, select Sign in
6. Enter your email address and password for the University

Please keep in mind that Franklin University reserves the right to manage and disable account access as well as perform data deletion of University email as needed. For those employed by Franklin University, such access removal and data deletion most often corresponds to employment status changes.
