Problem: Calendar appointment acceptance emails keep coming in for the same event from the same person
Cause: Calendar appointments that are accepted or modified using some cell phone email/calendar apps often fail to correctly update the appointment. Therefore, the appointment continually tries to communicate with the user through a broken communication path of the email/calendar app on the phone. This can cause the acceptance emails to keep sending over and over.
Fix: Unfortunately, the only fix for this issue is for the original creator of the meeting to delete and recreate the event. Please advise all attendees to respond to the event using their computer's version of Outlook or the Outlook App on their phone, and not to use their phone's default email apps for appointment response.
Note: This issue seems to occur less when using the Outlook app from Microsoft, as opposed to using a phone's default email application.
