Full-time staff and full-time faculty at Franklin University have access to Microsoft Teams Premium. Teams Premium is an enhancement to the Microsoft Teams experience that includes the following AI features:
- AI-powered meetings and intelligent meeting recaps that automatically generate meeting notes, recommended tasks, and personalized highlights.
- Customize meetings and webinars with branded meetings, organizational backgrounds, and more.
- Keep meetings confidential with advanced meeting protections like watermarks, sensitivity labels, end-to-end encryption, and limiting who can record.
How to Use the AI Meeting Recap Feature
Using your Teams Premium license to see a meeting recap for an upcoming meeting (this will also work for those with a Microsoft Copilot license):
1. Record and transcribe the meeting. Recording is required for the AI recap work.
2. After the meeting is over, allow up to 30 minutes for the recap to generate.
3. Go to the Calendar view in Teams.
4. Double-click to open the meeting object on the calendar.
5. Use the Recap tab on the top of the meeting to view the recap.
