Audience: Franklin University Faculty and Staff wishing to grant guest WiFi access.

The Franklin University Wi-Fi network is a guest Wi-Fi network for basic internet access. The network will allow guest Wi-Fi access for a day.
The process below will need to be completed for each device that you wish to have guest Wi-Fi access. If you bring multiple devices that all need access, please repeat this process for each device.
1. On your phone, laptop, or other device, look for the FranklinGuest wireless network in your list of available networks and connect to it.
2. Next, you should encounter the registration page as shown below.
- This page may automatically appear.
- If this page does not automatically appear, please open a web browser and attempt to navigate to various websites, which will prompt the registration box to pop up in your browser.
3. When reaching the registration page (as shown above) enter your full name, your email address, and please confirm the terms of use. Then, press Register.
- If you wish to review the terms of use, you can use the link next to the confirmation box before accepting the terms.
4. After registering, please check your email. You will be given a 5-minute time window to complete the registration using the email that is sent to you. The email sent for registration will come from clearpass@franklin.edu.
- During this 5 minute window, Franklin's guest Wi-Fi network will support your device checking your email through our guest network to email in your browser or within an email application (web, POP3, and IMAP supported).
5. Within the email received, use the link as shown below to confirm your account access.
6. After clicking the link in your email as shown above, navigate back to your browser to Confirm your access.
7. Once you see this screen, your 24 hours of access has started.
