Canvas Mobile App Overview
The Canvas Teacher app allows instructors to manage certain aspects of their course, communicate with students, and grade assignments from a mobile device. The app features a huge list of tasks instructors can perform, such as viewing submissions, grading assignments, taking attendance, messaging students, and much more. Download the Canvas App
For iOS users:
Download the Canvas mobile app by opening up the App Store, search for Canvas Teacher, and download the result titled Canvas Teacher - Mobile teaching companion.
For Android users:
Download the Canvas mobile app by opening up the Play Store, search for Canvas Teacher, and download the result titled Canvas Teacher - Instructure.

Logging Into The App
1. Open the app and tap the "Find My School" button.
2. Begin typing Franklin in the text box to narrow the options down, then select the school name from the list.
3. Enter your username and password and tap the "Log In" button.
*Note: Your username format should be FirstName.LastName@franklin.edu
Opening a Course
1. Once you have logged in you will be in the courses tab. Simply tap a course to open it.
Viewing and Grading an Assignment
1. Once you have opened a course you will see the course navigation. Tap the Assignments link to view assignments for the course.
2. Tap an assignment to open it.
3. If there are grades that need to be entered the number of needed grades will be shown in the circle above Needs Grading. Click this circle to see the students that need grades for this assignment.
4. Tap a student's name to see assignment details including submissions and grade.
5. Tap the '+' button to enter a grade for the student
6. Enter a grade for the student and tap OK.
7. Close the view and verify the grade.
