As instructors, the amount of Canvas alert emails that arrive to your inbox can be hard to filter for relevant data. Here are a few options to simplify filtering through that information.
1. Adjust your notification settings. In Canvas, click on your Account in the left-hand menu and then select Notifications. You can remove non useful alerts or change the frequency of the alerts.
2. You can setup rules in Office365 email to filter less important messages into inbox folders. For more information about creating rules, please click here.
Here is a screenshot of sample rules that can be used as a starting point. For this example, a folder was manually created for their inbox entitled "Canvas notifications".
