Introduction: The Townsend Learning platform is used in courses as an e-textbook with courseware. To understand the difference between e-textbooks and e-textbooks with courseware, please see the guide linked here.
Student Guide to Townsend
Before the Townsend Learning Platform can be used, the instructor will need to pair your Canvas course with Townsend.
Once the pairing process is completed, you can use the Townsend Learning link found on the course navigation menu on the left-hand side of your screen.
The Townsend options will now load, and you can select the available learning material. In this example, the material is titled Ten Steps to Improving College Reading Skills Plus.
This will present the e-textbook and assignments associated with this Townsend Learning material that your instructor paired.
