This document goes over how to plug in a guest PC for use with the classroom projector and speakers.
- Locate the guest VGA cable in the room (long cable with a wide blue jack at the end) and plug it into your laptop
- Press the "2" button on switcher to change the input to your laptop. Input "1" will show the university-owned desktop within the room.
- You may need to adjust your display settings on your laptop using the instructions below
Windows 10 laptops: Press the Windows logo key + P, and then choose one of the four options:

PC screen only. You'll see everything on your PC. (When you're connected to a wireless projector, this option changes to Disconnect.)

Duplicate. You'll see the same things on both screens.

Extend. You'll see everything across both screens, and you can drag and move items between the two.

Second screen only. You'll see everything on the connected screen. The other screen will be blank.
