This document goes over how to plug in a guest PC for use with the classroom projector and speakers. NOTE: This solution applies only to classrooms that are equipped with this technology. Please refer to the Franklin Classroom Technology Directory for a listing of rooms that this solution applies to.
- Locate the guest VGA cable in the room (long cable with a wide blue jack at the end) and plug it into your laptop
- Press the silver button on top of the blue box pictured above
- Adjust your display settings on your laptop using the instructions below
Press the Windows logo key + P, and then choose one of the four options:

PC screen only. You'll see everything on your PC. (When you're connected to a wireless projector, this option changes to Disconnect.)

Duplicate. You'll see the same things on both screens.

Extend. You'll see everything across both screens, and you can drag and move items between the two.

Second screen only. You'll see everything on the connected screen. The other screen will be blank.
