Overview
The Account Section at the top of BlueQuill displays a picture of you and your ID number.
When opened, this is where you will go to add/edit your photo, update your email address, change your password, select your desired language, change the way your first name displays (only available to students), and add links to social networking accounts.
Photo
This section allows you to upload a photo from your computer to set as your profile photo. This photo is used for BlueQuill, so all of your classmates and professors will see this photo. You may also update your email address in this section by typing your email into the "Email:" box and clicking "Update".
Password & Security
To reset your password, please follow the link with the Password & Security section.
Language
This is where you can change the default language for your BlueQuill account. Just click the drop-down and choose from the options of English or Spanish.
If your BlueQuill appears to be in another language and you need to set it back to English, note that the 3rd link from the left is always the "Language" link. If you click that link, you can select your language from the drop-down menu to reset your language.
First Name
This field will allow you to update how your first name is viewed in your courses. This does not change your official name within your University, but only in BlueQuill where your classmates and instructors may see.
Social Networking
This is where you can connect a Linkedin, Facebook, or Twitter profile to your BlueQuill account. This might be useful if you are looking for networking opportunities at your University or if you would like to interact with classmates outside of the classroom.

Hello, I am having trouble with being able to use a photo from my computer for my profile picture. I have a macbook, and most all of the photos were taken from an iphone. Has anyone else had any trouble with this, and how can I get it to accept a photo of mine? Thanks, Anthony.
Well it looks like it worked...but sideways. When I edit the photo and rotate it, the picture becomes unacceptable it says.
Hello Anthony,
Since you used an iPhone to take the picture, I would guess the picture might be a really high resolution. This might make the photo's file size too large. I would try cropping the photo down to the minimum size you need or taking another photo at a smaller resolution (like a webcam photo). Make sure you are following the size requirements listed:
"*Maximum size of 700kb, JPG, GIF, PNG
Image will display at 60x60 pixels"
Hope this helps!
